Description

Checks that contacts created within Evolution Data Server (as will happen when phone contacts get synchronized to an Apertis machine) show up in other contact-based programs.

Pre Conditions

  1. Ensure Rootfs is remounted as read/write.
    2. $ sudo mount -o remount,rw /
  2. Install dependencies
    3. $ sudo apt install telepathy-ring telepathy-mission-control-5 telepathy-gabble libfolks-eds25 libfolks-telepathy25 folks-tools syncevolution
  3. Restart the system to restore the filesystem state to read-only before running the test.
    4. $ sudo reboot
  4. Clone the tests repository from another computer (Note that the branch being tested may change depending on the release, please make sure to clone the correct branch for the release in question):
    5. $ git clone --branch apertis/v2019pre https://gitlab.apertis.org/infrastructure/apertis-tests.git
  5. Copy the test directory apertis-tests to the target device:
    6. $ DUT_IP=<device-ip>
    $ scp -r apertis-tests user@$DUT_IP:
  6. Log into the target device:
    7. $ ssh user@$DUT_IP

Execution Steps

  1. Enter test directory:
    2. $ cd apertis-tests
  2. Execute the following command:
    3. $ common/run-test-in-systemd --user=user --timeout=900 folks/folks-eds-compatibility.sh

Expected

The script will report PASSED or FAILED.
