Description

Test receiving SMS messages with oFono.

Resources

  • A phone with a SIM card.
  • A modem plugged into the Apertis system with a SIM card.

Pre Conditions

  1. Ensure Rootfs is remounted as read/write.
    2. $ sudo mount -o remount,rw /
  2. Install dependencies
    3. $ sudo apt install ofono-tests
  3. Restart the system to restore the filesystem state to read-only before running the test.
    4. $ sudo reboot

Execution Steps

  1. Ensure the modem is online:
    2. $ /usr/share/ofono/tests/online-modem
  2. Launch oFono monitor:
    3. $ /usr/share/ofono/tests/monitor-ofono
  3. Send a SMS from the mobile phone to the system.

Expected

A similar output should be displayed when the SMS is received:
